Many agencies are challenged with how to match targeting information that has been supplied to them with media opportunities that exist in that target area. In most cases the target information starts with a geography and usually comes in the form of a postal code or FSA.
AdWest uses GIS technology that allows us to work with geography supplied in any number of formats and match that geography with community newspapers circulating to it. From there we are able to provide the client with a number of different ways in which to assess the opportunities including aggregated coverage maps that layer the original collection of client data against physical coverage areas.
The result is that planners can easily assess the community newspaper opportunity in a form that might make more sense than numbers on a spreadsheet.
