Layering Third Party Geography: Mapping

Clients often supply agencies with a hard copy map or some other document that defines the target audience or area. These target geographies can be re-created using GIS technology to layer against a relevant collection of community newspapers options adding visual context and allowing for deeper decision-making with clients. Underlying the GIS maps is a collection of linear data that describes in great detail the areas where geographies intersect each other.
