Density Mapping

Helping clients identify the link between occurrence of the target market and physical newspaper coverage area is fundamental to the planning process. The thermal density mapping technique developed by AdWest maps ‘hot spots' of a specific target or dataset (as requested by our clients) across our three partner regions. The target data can then be layered against the newspapers that circulate in the area.

Each time a client requests new data to be mapped using thermal imagery, the map will be added to the database that runs this area of the site.

How to use the Density Mapping section:

  1. Select a dataset by clicking one of the categories from the pull down menus at the top of the screen.
  2. Use your cursor to mouseover the areas of the map to see which newspapers circulate to the various hotspots or;
  3. Use the newspaper directory on the right hand side of the screen to identify a specific newspaper. The zone that the newspaper circulates in will highlight on the map.
